Pat was born in Ambridge, where she grew up and raised three wonderful daughters with her husband. She was heavily involved in the Martial Arts, where she was first introduced to the practice of yoga. She was blessed with an active lifestyle until a neck injury caused severe stenosis in her spine. That resulted in neuropathy in her hands and feet, which caused pain and affected her balance. After a neck fusion, she became acutely aware of the need to find strength and balance in her life and found herself turning back to the practice of yoga.
With great encouragement from her family, she finished her 230-hour teacher training in Asheville, North Carolina under the guidance of Stephanie Keach, Michael Johnson, and Sierra Hollister, to whom she is most grateful. Upon returning home, she and her husband Tom renovated a beautiful and inviting space that has become Yoga Edge Studio in hopes that her passion might be shared with others. Pat is so very thankful to her husband Tom and her three daughters, Kori, Brittany, and Allison, for all the love, strength, and support she has felt from the very beginning. Her family has worked alongside her to help bring yoga into the Ambridge community and surrounding areas.
She is profoundly humbled by the awareness that yoga is not only time spent on the mat, but also speaks to how we live our lives, treat others, and make choices each day. It is her hope that all those who walk through Yoga Edge’s door will find a beautiful space to grow and strengthen, stretch, find balance and energy, release tension, and cultivate peace and joy within so they may take it back with them into the world.

"I have always been a seeker and I still am, but I stopped asking the books and the stars. I started listening to the teaching of my sole." -- Rumi
Yoga, specifically Bikram, entered into my life at a time when I was very lost, hurt, and basically at my personal rock bottom emotionally, physically, and mentally. I love the Bikram practice, otherwise known as Hot 26 & 2. I love to sweat and work out, so this class was perfect for me. After each class I began to realize what it felt like to find stillness, peace and to truly let go. I've learned that the past is past. Be present, that's what yoga teaches you. I have been practicing yoga for just over 6 years and teaching now for a year and a half. With passion of helping people better their bodies and minds and a long history of studying anatomy, physiology, exercise, and practicing as a massage therapist, I knew I could apply this to yoga students of all ages and abilities. I approach my classes with the science of anatomy, healing of massage, and stillness of mindful meditation. Currently, I attend Kaplan University for my bachelors of science in health and wellness and will graduate in October 2017. Health and wellness, healing and mindfulness are my true passions and I want to share them for the rest of my life.
